ATLANTA — The Atlanta Dogwood Festival is coming back to Piedmont Park, with organizers confirming dates of April 9–11 for the event’s 91st year after a stretch of post-pandemic financial stress that put the show at risk.

According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the festival operated in the red for several years after COVID-19, driven largely by about a 30 percent rise in production costs and weaker sponsorships. That squeeze created a roughly $250,000 shortfall in the most recent troubled cycle and left the 2026 edition in danger of cancellation before donations, corporate sponsors and foundation support stabilized the books.
