Here are five midweek events worth checking out across metro Atlanta:</p> <h2 id="bronzelens-film-festival-opens-wednesday">BronzeLens Film Festival opens Wednesday</h2> <p>The <strong>BronzeLens Film Festival of Atlanta</strong>, a festival dedicated to films by and about people of color, opens <strong>Wednesday, July 22</strong> with a slate that runs through Sunday at the <strong>Rialto Center for the Arts at Georgia State University</strong> downtown. The opening night film is followed by a Q&amp;A and reception. BronzeLens, founded in 2008, has grown into one of the Southeast&rsquo;s largest Black film festivals, with more than <strong>80 films</strong> programmed across the five days, including narrative features, documentaries, shorts, and a student track.</p>
