The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Bryce Elder spun a gem Wednesday night and the Braves stretched their winning streak to seven with a 4-1 victory over the Miami Marlins at Truist Park. Elder worked seven innings of one-hit ball, allowing a single run on 84 pitches (53 strikes). He walked two, struck out three, induced eight groundouts, and limited hard contact: of 20 balls in play, only six were classified as hard-hit. Elder moved to 8-6 on the season.
