For more than four decades, the Sweet Auburn Springfest has drawn hundreds of thousands of visitors to one of the most historically significant corridors in the American South. This May, it’s back — and organizers say this year’s celebration will be the biggest yet.

The 42nd annual Sweet Auburn Springfest is set for May 9–10, 2026, returning to the heart of Atlanta’s historic Sweet Auburn district. The two-day multicultural street festival remains the city’s longest-running event of its kind, and this year’s edition promises an expanded lineup of live music, local art, food, and community programming.
