Buckhead Village’s popular Summer Fridays series kicked off its 2026 run Thursday evening, with live music, drink specials and shopping filling Buckhead Avenue from late afternoon into the night.
The series, now in its sixth year, runs every Friday evening through July 31. Participating restaurants offer to-go cocktails and special menus, and shoppers can take advantage of extended evening hours at many of the neighborhood’s retail stores.
“Summer Fridays is the heartbeat of Buckhead in the warm months,” said Buckhead Village District executive director Shirley Howard. “It brings people out of their offices and into the neighborhood to enjoy everything Buckhead has to offer.”
This year, the series has added extra programming on World Cup match days, with extended outdoor seating, multilingual wayfinding signage, and dedicated World Cup viewing areas at several restaurants.
Live music rotates between Buckhead Village venues each week. The July 3 lineup includes a jazz trio at JW Marriott, an acoustic set at Le Colonial, and a DJ at Astor Court.
The series is free and open to the public. Parking is available at several garages throughout the district, though the neighborhood encourages ride-share and MARTA on Friday evenings.
