The free outdoor movie series at High Street Atlanta continues Thursday night with a screening of the 2004 animated hit “Shrek 2” (PG).
The screening begins at sunset, around 7 p.m., on the green at 101 High St. near Truist Park. Admission is free and open to the public.
“Shrek 2 is one of those movies that everyone in the family can enjoy,” said High Street Atlanta marketing director Sarah Pulliam. “We expect a big crowd.”
Free parking is available at the High Street garage. Concessions will be sold on-site, including popcorn, candy, and soft drinks. Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome; outside alcohol is prohibited.
The series continues with “Legally Blonde” (PG-13) on August 6, “Encanto” (PG) on September 3, and “The Nightmare Before Christmas” (PG) on October 1.
